Poetry comes in all form and fashion, with music being right at the top of the list. We all know that a lot of what we listen to is poetry set to music, right? So that is why I chose to place this here, on my poetry site, as strange as that may seem.

My nephew, Scott, has been a member of a band for a while now. The band members are made up of four of "the boys" (those of you who have read about my son David know about "the boys" -- all seven of 'em. *grin*). The four are Tyler, Drew, Scott and Justin. It all began with Tyler and Scott jamming together, then later bringing in Justin with his guitar, and Drew with his bass. After a while they decided that this was a lot more than just fun, and that they were a lot better than simply good, so decided to band together (no pun intended *grin*) and, after going through a few different names, landed solidly on calling themselves HEDON. They have worked very hard, sacrificed a lot, and have just released their first CD!! It is all very exciting, and while their hopes are sky-high, their feet remain firmly planted on the ground. They will all be attending college this Fall, but who knows ..... HEDON may very well be one of the fantastic new bands you'll be hearing A LOT about in the future!! In fact, I'm sure of it. :)
